Owner BIO
Pat Giancontieri is the founder and owner of Laser Design Solutions. With 33 years design experience, including ownership
and management of Yellow No 5 Design Studio, Inc., formerly
of New York City, she started her career as an award winning
graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her extensive
kitchen, bath and domestics interior surface design experience
includes projects for such clients as Creative Bath, Home
Innovations, The Robert Allen Group, and Dan River.
Pat has been hand etching stone for 22 years and has developed
an intimate understanding of how to mark stone. Working
with clients, artists, design and production staffs, asking
the right questions, and truly listening to the needs,
ideas and concepts presented allows Pat to translate vision
into reality. The finished product reflects a passion
for design and its function in beautifying our environment.
Pat’s works of significance encompass numerous public
installations including the United Airlines 9/11 Pilots
Memorial, located in their Flight Center Operations offices
at JFK Airport; and the Veterans Memorial honoring all
branches of the service in Merrick, NY. |
